Who we are
Aidan Claffey Travel is a minibus and coach hire business based in Borrisokane, North Tipperary, Ireland. For anything about your data, email claffeyaidan50@gmail.com or call 087 653 1777.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send in the quote form:
- your name, and a phone number and/or email address;
- trip details: destination, pick-up, date, number of passengers, occasion, whether anyone uses a wheelchair, and any notes.
Wheelchair access is the only detail that relates to health. Tell us only if you want us to plan for it; we use it for nothing else.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry and, if you book, to arrange the trip. We don’t use your details for marketing and we never sell them.
Who else handles it
- Formspree receives the quote form and forwards it to our email inbox (Gmail, run by Google). Formspree is a US company and processes the data on our behalf.
- WhatsApp, if you choose to message us there instead. That message is handled under WhatsApp’s own terms.
- Vercel hosts this website. Like any web host, it handles standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
- Google Analytics, only if you allow cookies. It tells us which pages people visit, so we can improve the site.
Cookies and storage
No cookies are set unless you allow Google Analytics. You can change your mind at any time in .
The site also remembers a few things in your own browser: your cookie choice, your light or dark theme if you pick one, and the trip details you choose while browsing (so they carry over to the quote form). Trip details are cleared when you close the tab, and none of it is sent anywhere unless you submit the form.
Fonts and maps are served from this website itself, so loading a page doesn’t contact any font or map services.
How long we keep it
As long as we need to reply and manage any booking, and then for a reasonable time for our records. Ask us and we’ll delete it sooner.
Your rights
Under Irish and EU data protection law (GDPR) you can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email claffeyaidan50@gmail.com. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission.
